Cholera Treatment Center

Cazale, Haiti

Real Hope for Haiti (RHFH) operates a health clinic and inpatient children’s ward in Cazale. When the cholera epidemic hit Haiti, RHFH’s ability to respond to the desperate need for treatment was limited by the size of their clinic. Msaada designed a cholera treatment center where RHFH could better respond to the need of the community and surrounding region. Construction of the first phase (50 beds) of the planned 100-bed facility is now complete, allowing RHFH to provide treatment for more than 6,000 patients to date.
