2 New Housing Buildings at Gurukul Theological College

Chennai, Tamil Nadu, India

perspective

Gurukul Theological College and the United Evangelical Lutheran Churches in India (UELCI) are making a concerted effort to become more financially self-sustained, while advancing their ministry of Christ based education in India. The project of two housing units, one for the College and one for the UELCI (also located on the College campus) will be 4 story buildings, each with a total floor area of 578 square meters.

The UELCI building will have flats/apartments for staff, as well as self-contained rooms for students. The College building will be similar except the fourth floor will contain a Dining Hall with a seating capacity of 200 for students and staff. Both buildings are to be built on existing land at the College campus. In addition to the value of the land, the College and UELCI have raised funds for approximately 1/3 of the total project cost.

Your contribution to this important project will therefore enable the development of this project to continue. In return for your tax deductible financial support (and the relationship you then will have established with the College), you will receive quarterly updates on the progress and completion of this very important project.
